Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Dear Northwest Racers,

Have you had your fill of wet training and racing? Come to the dry side of the Cascade for one the Northwest's premier cycling events. Things are shaping up for a great event and Sorella Forte Cycling Team and Breakaway Promotions are looking forward to hosting all of you. New this year will be the Saturday twilight criterium under the lights as well as moving the tough Orchard Run Road Race to the final day.

Registration

Just a reminder that this year's Cherry Blossom Cycling Classic is now three weeks earlier than last year. That means registration is going to be closing soon. Regular registration closes in less than a week and after that you will have a late fee to pay. Be sure and sign up today to avoid the late fee. Registration is looking strong and we are anticipating a good turn out this year.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be located at Water's Edge Health and Wellness Facility on Thursday night from 5:30-8:30 PM and Friday morning from 7:00-11:00AM. Be sure and check out their brand new facility and delicious Bistro.

Lodging

Finally make sure you book lodging ASAP. Lodging is limited and to make sure you get accommodations you need to make those reservations. Comfort Inn and the newly remodeled Celilo Inn are once again huge supporters of the event. . Give them a call at 541-298-2800 to make reservations.

Massage

Water's Edge will be extending their hours of operation during the race to accomodate riders wanting a recovery massage to flush lactate and improve muscle performance. Be sure and contact Lori Waters tat lori@breakawaypromotions.com to schedule an appointment. Massage services will be done by appointment only.
