Echo R2R and Mike Ripley

As mountain bike racers in Oregon, we are fortunate to have Mike. He cares
a great deal about people and the sport! He is also one of the people who
support mountain biking "of all sorts" in Oregon. We have so many dedicated
people helping off road riders have places to pedal. Many are nameless, but
impact what we get to ride. But Mike is a Gem!

I'd just like to thank you Mike. I went up from a 3 to a 1 just so I
could race the Umatilla river section of the race and when you heard
me say that you were super stoked for me to do it. I came in DFL in my
Cat but I had a great time and I wanted to give you your props for
being great and enthusiastic about my upgrade. You, among others, make
OBRA rock!

Cheers!

Matt Case

P.S. I hit both of my personal goals for that race and I appreciate
your comments on my line during a descent where you were behind me. It
makes me want to race all season!
