I work at Meadows. This morning it started turning from rain to snow just past Rhodendron and the higher I got the more it was dumping. Medows has gotten between 2-5 inches of snow every day this week.

I'm not a skier so I haven't been up to Mt. Hood this time of year.
But my wife and son and I are going up to a cabin in Rhododendron next
week. I'm wondering what we can expect in that area next week - lots
of snow on the ground? No snow on the ground?

If conditions allow, I'd love to hear some about any recommended hikes
in the area, generally on the mellow-medium difficulty level.
If there is any good riding that's doable this time of year, suitable
for a cross bike, I'd also be interested. (See, I related it to
bikes!)
If it's going to be snowy I'll start looking for warm beverage recipes
and snowshoeing options.
