Candi Murray/Oregon Bicycle Racing Assn

Dear OBRA Promoters



A new organization has been created to address the regional and

national needs to bicycle racing. The organization is called FIAC

(Federation of Independent Associations for Cycling) and OBRA is a

founding member along with American Cycling Association,

Northern Cal-Nevada Cycling Association, Southern Cal Cycling

Association, and American Bicycle Racing.



One of the things that FIAC is trying to create is a series of races

that would tie together to create a National Points Series for 2003.



Criteria is being developed for what is necessary to become a FIAC

NPS race but I wanted to send out a feeler to see who would be

interested in having their event included if you were to qualify.



The categories that will be run the first year for the series are:

SM 3

Masters

Juniors

SW 1-2-3

SM P-1-2
