The Elkhorn Classic Stage Race registration
continues

The journey continues towards the 10^th
anniversary Elkhorn Classic June 17 – 19, 2011.

Thanks to the continued work of Scott Willson, the OBRA
online registration program now is able to offer the pre-order of a limited
edition number of 10th Anniversary Elkhorn cycling hats and t-shirts.

As the racing calendar continues
to roll on into a wonderful season of racing, we encourage racers and their
friends to plan their goals at the personal and team level. To help with that,
Elkhorn would like to remind racers that a team discount exists for early team
entries.Want to race with friends, family, neighbors, co-workers? Bring em all. A 10th anniversary only happens once!

Also, a reminder that when
registering online for Elkhorn and other out of town events, not all lodging
accommodations can be booked online.  In some cases, hotels hold rooms for the event and in order
to book a room and obtain an event discount, you must call and book over the
phone.  Please make sure to check
both online and via the phone to see if your lodging choice offers a discount
or race perk.

We are pleased to announce the
return of licensed and OBRA experienced massage team, led by our own Molly
Carlson, to Elkhorn this year.  Her
team will be set up at the Sunridge Inn in Baker City.  Details will follow.

As happens each year, there
have been a few requests to break out and score additional subfields within
each peloton.  We are always
willing to consider this, but certain requirements must be met.  For example, fields scored separately
must have a minimum of 10 riders. 
To create an entirely separate peloton, we need riders in that peloton
to commit to providing volunteer drivers for support vehicles.
