WTB: Training Wheelset - lightly used

i had a used (some wear, just enough that the coating is gone and a few wear
lines) mavic ma-40 rim that i recently built into *front wheel*. So 36 new
wheelsmith 15/16g spokes, brass nipples shimano lx front hub converted to
seal cartridge bearings. $80. if you are under 300 # i will guarantee
fatigue spoke breakage for life. (meaning i will replace a broken spoke and
re-true) I am 40 so hopefully that means another 60 yrs ? I suspect the
rim will wear away before then, at which time, you tape another rim beside
it and transfer the spokes over.
I will include a specialized 23/25 roubaix? tire (looks more like 28/30..)
and the tube. and rim strip. and qr rod and nut and springy thingys.

I have about the same exact situation as my esteemed colleague Kevin, so I'm going to completely plagiarize his message rather than writing my own witty request for wheels:

"Good afternoon,
Perhaps you have a set of training wheels that are no longer used? I am looking to replace a set of 32h Mavic Open Pro clincher wheels with something similar or the same. The wheels have been great, but the sidewalls are heavily concaved from many thousands of miles.

If you have something available, I prefer something lightly used and which has not seen any, or little of our fantastic PNW cross action. I am not picky on black, silver etc, as long as the bearings are smooth."

Thanks!
Bernard

Afternoon,

Perhaps you have a set of training wheels that are no longer used? I am
looking to replace a set of 32h Mavic Open Pro clincher wheels with
something similar or the same. The wheels have been great, but the sidewalls
are heavily concaved from many thousands of miles.

If you have something available, I prefer something lightly used and which
has not seen any, or little of our fantastic PNW cross action. I am not
picky on black, silver etc, as long as the bearings are smooth.

Best,
KD
