It was an unfortunate coincidence that when the lap board read
"1", the second prime bell was also rung. Nor did the
racers know there would be a second prime (the more primes the
better!). Hearing a bell ring with 1 lap showing in a Cat 4/5 race
could understandably create some confusion, even among old farts like
myself. I like Mike's sticky tape idea. Another good
suggestion was made by race officials -- start showing laps with only 9
to go.
