So if I don't go around doing good deeds and then immediately posting about them on obra chat, I'm not welcome? Duly noted.

The 2 guys were about 3 miles from a gas station in Troutdale and I offered to go and bring back gasoline. When I said this he was shocked! He slipped me a $20 and off I went. I had to buy a gas can as the station would not loan me one. I came back with 2 gallons of gas and got the guys on their way. They were just besides themselves about the act of kindness/good deed. I refused their money and explained to them it was just the right thing to do. They took my picture and we said good bye and I rode off back to my training. I could not help but think how surprised they were and I realized that I have changed their perception of cyclist.

I challenge EVERY cyclist to be an ambassador to your sport. Every time you interact with some one that is not a cyclist, you are being an ambassador to the sport. Practice random acts of kindness. When you do this this helps every cyclist out there.
