Hungry Hikers Cooks
Up New “One-Pot Wonders”
Premiers
Online this Month
Portland, Ore. – April 21, 2011 – Hungry Hikers, the makers
of the “One Pot Wonders” freeze dried
gourmet food. This is a new launch for the start up company and the first
introduction of the brand. Hungry Hikers announced the launch of their new
website www.hungryhikers.com,
highlighting six enticingly flavorful new products and grocery items.
Hungry Hikers provides innovative, lightweight, delicious
and hearty meals to the adventure enthusiast. By combining the savory flavors
of a gourmet meal, coupled with the simplicity of cooking and convenient
packaging, these tasty meals will provide fuel for the trail or where ever the
next adventure may lead.
“Not everyone wants to add boiling water to a bag and eat.
Hungry Hiker meals require a bit more attention and we believe it is worth the
extra effort.” said Kim Gerhardt, a co-owner and inspiration behind Hungry
Hikers. “Spending time around camp after a long, exhilarating day on the trail,
smelling delicious food and sharing with friends and family…now that is a great
vacation.” and “We look forward to seeing the One Pot Wonders on the trails, in bike rider’s packs or in the
kayak.”
Hungry Hikers meals add a twist to favorites such as Chicken
Pot Pie, Sheppard’s Pie and Beef Stroganoff - possibly the most civilized thing
encountered on the trail. Forest Park
Pilaf, Cascade Corn Chowder or Murray’s Hurried Curry are all meals to fuel the
adventure.
Hungry Hikers was stewed up by three women
adventurists, based in Portland, Ore. By
taking their love of nature and enjoyment of good food, they creatively developed
these innovative, lightweight, delicious and hearty meals. Hungry Hikers looks
forward to fueling your next adventure. For further information call 503-841-9559 or
