My husband, Kevin Nichols, and I put on the first of this year's "As the Raven Flies TT" this past Saturday. I'm here to say that any drivers on the road who hate cyclists cannot possibly personally know one.
The people who came to race Saturday were a group of fun, competitive and KIND people. Even when one of them came to tell us something we could improve :) it was done in a clear and yet kind way.
The way some drivers treat cyclists out on a ride can start to make one feel that there must be a group of - how shall I say this - well, ...not nice... cyclists out there making a bad name for the rest of us. But if that's the case, I certainly haven't met one yet and the racers at our TT last Saturday proved it once again.
