2nd Annual Franz Bakery Criterium
Saturday, June 25

Rise to the top at Portland's Bakery Crit

The 2nd Annual Franz Bakery Criterium will take place Saturday, June 25 on an 8-corner course with approximately 40' per lap. Located in heart of Portland around the Franz Bakery, this criterium promises to be fun and fast. In a post-race blog post, one rider stated "The course is hands-down one of the best and most fun crit courses in Portland!  This is no boring 4-corner criterium.  With a 'figure-eight' layout, it has sweeping fast descending corners, some technical pavement sections, some punchy hills.  An excellent 'all-rounder' course. This race is on my must-race list for next year! “

This criterium will be a points race. Two points will be awarded to the winner of each lap. The final lap will be scored 15 places deep for points. The individual with the most points wins the race. In addition to the points, the winner of each lap will receive $5. Yes, in every category, the first rider across the line will win $5 each time. It pays to be aggressive at this race.
