Time to sign up for the Mt Hood Cycling Classic for June 3-5

This year’s race will be kinder and friendlier for our legs with a
nice balance of flats, a technical crit and doable climbing.
Stage 1 Road Race on June 3 has us doing 28 miles. While the Cat 1-2s
are huffing up the Seven Mile Road hill, we’ll skip it entirely and
only do a total of 2200 feet of climbing.
Stages 2 & 3 on Saturday will be dominated by those of you who can
push the power! The day combines the individual effort of a morning TT
in Trout Lake, WA., with the twists and turns of a downtown Hood River
criterium in the afternoon.
Stage 4 on Sunday is a totally survivable mountain stage. With 6300
feet of climbing in the beautiful Mt Hood area, we’ll ride for 57
miles past breathtaking vistas. Leave something in the tank for the
ascent to the finish in the last 400 meters or sing a little mantra to
help you over the 15% grade. We love hills!
