Trackies --
Come out this Saturday, May 7 to Alpenrose Velodrome to race the first mass
start races of 2011! Omnium winners will receive the highly-coveted Eric
Kautzky Memorial Track Race Jersey, plus merchandise from Chris King and and
gift certificates from Bicyclinghub.com. In addition we'll have Alpenrose
chocolate milk for our omnium winners and our Kiddie Kilo racers. Proceeds
to benefit the Eric Kautzky Scholarship Fund at Tigard High School.
And just one more note -- if we get rained out this Sat, we have tentatively
looked at May 22 as a rain date. Here's some key info:
- Registration starts at 9am, racing starts at 10am (you can also
preregister on OBRA site)
- Kiddie Kilo is FREE and starts at 10am! Training wheels and 3-wheelers
are welcome!
- High grass in the infield as of last weekend. Hopefully it might get
mowed by this Thurs.
- Estimated event finish time around 2pm. This is often dependent on #
of races (approx 33), delays for any crashes, etc.
