I'm relocated to Colorado, but will throwin my two cents on Trek's top
of the line double wide. I don't remember the name of it, but it is
identifiable for it's standard quick-releases for the wheels, as opposed
to some of the other means of wheel attachments.
First, it's big, but it's really nice to carry one child and a full load
of groceries, or one child and one dog, and absolutely necessary to
carry two. The belt arrangement allows convenient (for me, but I have a
mechanical engineering degree, so car seats are easy, too) securing of
my daughter in the middle or securing her on one side and the dog on the
other. It's got a full canopy, and it seems reasonably weather-tight,
though I've never tested that.
As for a jogger, it's passable with the jogger kit, but it's the biggest
jogger I've personally laid eyes on, though it's not really any heavier
than I remember any other double joggers with full canopies being.
It doesn't have a hand brake, so it's not nearly so nice to roller-blade
behind as a real jogger. I didn't compare the jogger conversions of the
comparable Burley or any other trailer, so I can't say if any of the
jogger conversions come with a hand brake. I imagine at least one must,
that's such an obvious thing, once you've used one without it. It does
have a parking brake, and it's quite effective, so if you don't need or
want the hand-brake, it's fine for what it is, a two passenger enclosed
jogger.

This is for the bike aficionado parent... I am a bike aficionado, soon
to be parent (Mid-December) and am starting to look at bike trailers.
I'd love to hear reviews and advice on getting good trailers, and may be
interested in purchasing your 'pre-owned' child towing device :) I am
particularly interested in multi use trailers, like the Burley d'lite.
Does anyone have any comments on those? Besides a bike trailer are they
suitable for jogging as well, or just as a walking stroller? Does any
one know of a good trailer that can be used as a jogger as well, or is
this too much to expect?!?
