I would hardly call Dan Houghton's email a threat. You may have noticed,
Eric, uh...er, dacrizzow, that people generally post their names on the OBRA
list emails. Even when we - better yet - especially when we rant on each
other, we post our names. Anonymous posting seems to be the M.O. for
newspapers, Velonews, etc...but not so much this list. The rare times we are
confronted online, we deal with it in a peaceful manner. In fact, just to
prove it, I'm going to call out Dan H. for being a bit computer ignorant and
not doing a simple search of the interwebs to find your name.
"...place of employment...big brother...feeling threatened..." I think
you're blowing this whole thing way out of proportion from the posts I've
seen.
Finally, on a related subject, everyone out there raise your hand if you're
still laughing about seeing Mike post: "It is more like taking a crap in
someone's front lawn."
Peace out -

i guess if everybody is comfortable with people calling you out online, going to your team, possibly you place of employment (alot of guys out there represent their employers, i for one quit my team because they took on my employer as a sponsor), then i have to back off on this one. i guess i'll be more careful as to what i say and to whom i say it to now that OBRA has given the go ahead to playing big brother. i'm already feeling somewhat threatened after having the originator of the thread wanting to know my name. have fun and be safe out there. but if it doesn't affect me or the ones i care about DIRECTLY then i don't care what you do.
