Kevin Driscoll
Obra,
I know everybody on here has amazing gear, but if you are looking for a
cheaper commuter/rain bike that you can abuse in the Cross Crusade this
fall, this is your bike. I have it listed on Craigslist for $500, but the
O'price is $450. See below for my Craigslist
description
:
*A great commuter or training bike that is ready for the Cross Crusade when
the mud whips up. Shimano 105 ten speed components, Carbon Fork, Sram Rival
Crank, Avid Shorty Brakes, FSA Headset, Bontrager Seatpost, New Bar Tape...
It is a great looking bike with the white frame. Has the usual scuffs from
touring and commuting, and one small ping in the top tube from a door, not a
crash. The back wheel should probably be replaced soon as the braking
surfaces are worn, but it is ridable as is. For $500 a great looking
versatile bike with Shimano 105 10 speed components that will take you
anywhere you want to go, be it to work in the morning, through the cross
season, or across Europe on a tour. Not sure exactly what the retail value
is, but this $500 is what I would expect to pay for the bike and be happy
with my purchase. She will be missed.*
