OK

Half Way through and I hit a new high or low, racing with the Kids in the
Kids race, pretty funny after tooling around slow like avoiding MR cramp and
getting in some miles before June and the Long Endurance season starts.

To Explain

Came in 20 minutes after the last person in the 38 mile Cat 1 race, and I
heard cheering, and it was for the Kids race which I rode into, following
parents, making smooth passes and generally laughing at Myself for my tour
like attitude at the Chainbreaker, or maybe it was strategy?
Those Kids can ride and for a Kids race that was super intense terrain.
Funny how when I rode up on a kid he would go faster trying to get away from
me (which was easy) and then parents would ask if I was helping and I
responded "No still racing"

Anyway it was a blast with the Grapple (snow ice) I think thats what its
called and an excellent Job by Kevin and his Crew.

Great Job Terri and the Judges and thanks

For the Race, I did not see Ryan Tall Man Trebon, but he won the show with
Alice Pennington taking down Sue Butler again. I hope they have a Showdown
at the TOE 50 for the ultimate bragging rights for Oregon.

After 5 races some categories have some ties (Luke Demoe and Cory Longetti)
Singlespeed and Justin Finn (Spooky Cycles) has taken over the Pro lead from
Sean Babcock

If you are in the TOP 5 in your category, please start in the front row (I
will pass this on to the Series Promoters)

The series will start to take overall shape with the best 7 counting so do
not leave yourself short a race coming into the finals at Picketts.

Great Job to all and I hope to see you Saturday at the Spring Thaw. If you
are around Friday Pre-reg is 5-7 at the Standing Stone Brewery, good place
to eat. Pre-ride for me around 5pm to shake out my legs
Race starts super early at 9am and is alot of fun and no I will not be
racing the Kids race this week.

All the best
