This bike is incredibly light, stiff and comfortable to ride. There's plenty
of reasons why people pay so much for these. I had it built up and it
weighed just over 15 pounds... and still it isn't at all noodly.... nor does
it beat you up in the bumps.
This is a medium frameset that has been used for less than a year. It's
never been crashed. I have been totally, totally into this bike the whole
time I've had it.
The 2010 Helium is made of a nicer carbon that makes it lighter and stiffer.
And it's nicer looking.
I am 5'11" and the bike fits me perfectly.
The seatmast is currently cut to have a saddle height of 79cm max. To go
down from there, you just cut a little mast off. It has little alloy spacers
that it comes with. Or, if you wanted to, Ridley made the mast cylindrical
at the base so you could cut the whole thing off and use a 31.8mm seatpost
and a clamp. Nice to have options, but the seatmast is really the way to go.
