O2 Endurance Performance Coaching

I met a very cool young man this past weekend who's exploring racing wheelchairs. He is a double amputee and has pulled together a fairly clunky, but functional, racing wheelchair.
I had the opportunity to watch him race a 1500m on the track with his high school peers and was quite impressed.

Question 1...does anyone know anything about putting together a quality racing wheelchair? (or know of someone locally that does)
Question 2...are there any older generation disc wheels floating around that you might consider donating to help him upgrade the chair he has?
