Subject: [OBRA Chat] Insurance Settlement?
I was hit by a car on my bike in Gresham last August, and the driver's PIP
covered the treatment for my broken navicular/scaffoid up to 10k or 1 year.
However, I still have many medium to large permanent scars and chronic pain in
my hand, wrist and elbow.
I've been offered a potential settlement from the insurance company, but they
want a figure from me, and I have no idea how much I should ask for.
I will likely have permanent issues with my wrist and elbow, and will need
Physical Therapy to keep it in shape and usable for my career and even for
normal daily use.
If there are any attorneys out there who can offer some free advice, it would be
much appreciated!
