I can't not reply...

I must apologize publicly. Hidden in a little emotion was my point that the list is not a place to run somebody down. The racing history, present or past contribution or anything else should not be relevant. I should not have been such a cynic by saying anything like that. My point has been missed as a result. Certainly no harm was intended and I apologize.

There seems to be an issue with some responders hitting the "reply all"
button instead of the "reply" button. They are usually very close to each
other, so maybe its a mistake?

Its like when someone says reply off list, they instead reply to the whole
list. Maybe we need to read a little more closely before we hit reply all
and only hit reply to some emails that should go directly to the sender
instead of sending it to the whole list. That doesn't even get me started
with the those who like to list 20 items for sale in 20 separate emails sent
within minutes of each other. One email usually does it :)

Matt, you do an awesome job out in Central Oregon. Keep up the good work.

According to OBRA results history, this guy Sarich hasn't even raced since 2006, during which he raced once. Bravo, Steve. How does it feel to have 2000+ new friends?

If you don't participate AND have something constructive/positive to say, please stay off the list. I'm sure I speak for all your new friends.

Thanks, Matt.

All too often it seems that people will write an email that should be shared with one person, yet it is sent to the entire OBRA list. Its as if they don't understand the difference. Like a message saying Steve Scarich is such an asshole for what he wrote about tonights crit getting canceled. Or being super excited to read the new Steve Scarich book about being the Greatest Promoter in the Universe. Or saying its kind of a bitch move to write a note like Steve Scarich did. Many people would say those types of messages should go straight to Steve instead of being written to the whole list. Others might disagree.

The OBRA list is such a fun and exciting method of communication. I think the only way I could enjoy it more is if somehow I lost money every time I sent a message.

an asshole for what he wrote about tonights crit getting canceled. Or being

Promoter in the Universe. Or saying its kind of a bitch move to write a note
like Steve Scarich did. Many people would say those types of messages should

The OBRA list is such a fun and exciting method of communication. I think
the only way I could enjoy it more is if somehow I lost money every time I
sent a message.
