There are a few miles of legal single track in Lake Oswego that are pretty fun to ride:
--Cook's Butte Park south of the lake has some steep, well-signed trails and a couple challenging fast descents. Enter from Westview or Meadowlark, do a handfull of repeats up and down...
--Then pedal around the lake up to the end of Fairway Road near the LO CC, and climb the Iron Mountain trail up to Glen Eagles Rd. Bomb down to Wembley Park Rd and enter...
--Springbrook Park for some really well-maintained, flowy, less vertical ST with overlapping loops you can turn into a nice workout.
I stitch these together for a good time-constrained MTB workout. Be aware that these are all shared-use trails and keep your eyes peeled for dog walkers, jr high cross country runners etc. I'm just pleased that these trails are still open to bikes--let's keep 'em that way! Cheers,
Paul
