Hey everyone the weather is looking to be great this Sat. Sunny and 80....We have 2 complete Raleigh SS Bikes to give away to the winner of the Men's and Women's Championship race, plus alot of great prizes....and special one off custom medals to the top 3 in each race of the day except juniors, but we will have some nice prizes for you as well.....Special note, since we want to get alot of ladies racing in the SS race we will allow this only in the ladies race....You can race your geared bike, choose a gear and we will zip tie your shifters and cables up or you can do it at home, just need to check into the pit area and make sure you are good to go.....Also don't forget about the new Cafe on the Island, they are staying open for us so try and give them some business....We may have a team tent area as well, more on that later.....The junior race will be separated in age groups for boys and girls as well, so 10-12, 13-15 etc.....Original email and flyer below.....Last but not least, Candi had a great idea for the Single speed races....when you check in for the SS Championship races please note on your waiver or at the registration desk what gear you are running, she thought it would be really fun to go back after the race and run a list of what everyone ran, men and women....So any questions on any of this let me know....thanks, Jeff

So all you Single Speeders and Track Racers.....This will be a race to remember and will be an annual race for us....
Great prizes to the winner of the SS Men's and Women's race....SS cross framesets and more....Some great custom medals to all top 3 finishers in all Cats....This will be a fun day of racing, not the average crit race....Also just a heads up, there is now a cafe on the race loop at Swan island, I have talked to them and they are going to stay open the day of the race, the name is Mocks Bottom Cafe, about 200 meters from the finish line, they have good food, sandwiches, fruit, bagels, fluids etc....So try and make it worth them staying open for us...More details on the race later....But save this date.....any questions let me know....

Thanks,
Jeff
