2002 Hood River Cyclocross Classic

Presented By: Discover Bicycles, Disco Velo, the Hood River Grower/Shipper Organization, the Northwest Pear Board, New York City Sub Shops, the Big Gym, and the Hood River Bagel Company.

Sunday, September 29, 2002

Come on out to Hood River for a great day of racing.

The race will be run at the Hood River Valley High School and will consist of a great balance of terrain. Everything from grueling run ups, to hairy corners, strategically placed barriers, single track, pavement, and wide-open fields (you'll need someplace to pass or get passed). From the tight and technical to the all out speed, it's all there. A great way to kick off this year's cross season. And free pears, too!

Start Times:

10:40 am - Kiddy Cross Race (4-7 years, 8-12 years)

11:00 am - Juniors, Beginners, Masters 45, Women 35+ (40 minutes)

12:00 pm - Cat B, Women, (45 minutes)

1:00 pm - Cat A, Masters 35-44 (60 minutes)

Then left onto Belmont Drive for 1.3 miles. Belmont Drive becomes Indian Creek Road, continue for another .8 miles and high school is on your right (Indian Creek Golf Course on left).
