Dear Race Organizers,

Last year there was a nasty crash caused by people throwing things at
the racers.

I'd just like to ask the promoters of the race to PLEASE keep an eye
on this sort of stuff. We have to pay to race and pay the medical
bills that sometimes result from racing. Cycling has inherent risks,
but let's try and keep the unnecessary risks to a minimum.

This race brings out a lot of people who don't typically watch bike
races, which is great. People want to be involved in the race, also
great. But the Mississippi course is tight enough as it is, added
challenges from spectators. Please be proactive and make it fun for
everyone.
