Hello OBRA and Cycling Friends,

Friends of Jack, a Portland-based non profit formed in 2010, will be holding its 2nd Annual benefit bike ride in White Salmon, WA ( just across the bridge from Hood River) on Saturday August 6th. The fun starts at 9:00 am.

Two of our targeted indivuduals that we're hoping to help this year are Leia Tyrrell and David Auker.

Friends of Jack's mission is to help a fallen rider recover from an accident that occurs while cycling by providing a monetary contribution, and to cushion the landing so that our fellow riders may focus on their recovery and heal.

Please join us for a beautiful 30 mile ride with over 2000 feet of climbing, followed by a party and auction. White Salmon is just one hour away from Portland, and Friends of Jack, along with our sponsors, will be providing fun live music, some great food, and beer from Everybody's Brewing!

Check out friendsofjack.org for more details, to register, sponsor a rider, or to make a donation.

Thanks for reading!
