Hello OBRA-land and Cycling Enthusiasts,

The 2nd Annual Friends of Jack Benefit Bike Ride will be on Saturday August 6th in White Salmon, which is right across the bridge from Hood River.

Last year, the inaugural ride benefitted Jack Toland, a Tualatin resident, as he recovered from a bad cycling accident the day before Thanksgiving in 2009.

Friends of Jack is a local non profit that provides financial assistance and support when a cyclist has had an accident. We're here to make the landing as soft as possible so that a rider can focus on recovery and healing. Our group has already begun to help David Auker and Leia Tyrrell, but more riders will need help.

Join us at 9:00 am for a great 30 mile ride with over 2000 feet of climbing, yummy food, beer from Everybody's Brewing, a silent auction, and live music.

Thanks for reading!
