Let me clarify, I'm not looking at 4x15min vs 60min helping me get
better as I don't think it makes a difference.
The question was about 4x15min vs 60min on the trainer purely for
cycling benefit.

Short version:
I'm recovering from spinal compression fractures.
This is all hypothetical.
Does riding the indoor trainer in 10-15 minute sessions, multiple
times a day do anything or would I be better served going for longer
and fewer sessions?
I'm not looking to build fitness or muscle mass or have any goals but
to get better, but I'm more curious if for example 4 x 15 min sessions
equals the same benefit as 1 continuous hour or is it degraded.
How/why if so?
