North Park Blocks, Portland, Oregon

The course surrounds the North Park Blocks of downtown Portland,
creating an island oasis of 360-degree viewing, music, food and
beverage. There are several places where you can get close enough to
feel the wind from the peloton. Each lap is one-half mile long which
takes the racers just over one minute to complete. Be sure to grab
your race guide when you get to the events so you will have a complete
guide to what is happening at the Portland Twilight Criterium
presented by Subaru. Race guides are located at the Info Booth on the
south end of the park and at all of the exhibitor booths.

The event is free to watch and great for families. Come downtown to
experience the excitement yourself.

START TIMES AND CATEGORIES
Races are open to all ages and genders. Free lap rule is in effect.
Warm-ups are 15 minutes before each race. Women may race in their
category or one category down.
Category 3 - 6:30pm (45 minutes + 1 lap)
Category Pro/1/2 - 7:30pm (1 hour + 1 lap)

REGISTRATION
Pre-Registration is highly suggested and closes on August 11th, 2011
at 12 Midnight. Sign up online at: www.portlandtwilight.com. Day of
registration opens at 5pm. Registration area is across from
Start/Finish line at NW 8th and Davis. An Oregon Bicycle Racing
Association (OBRA) license is required to race and is available at
registration for $5 (single-day) or $20 (annual). You may purchase a
day or annual membership at race site.

ENTRY FEE
$25.00 pre-registration, $35.00 day of event. Pre-Registration is
highly suggested and closes on August 11th, 2011 at 12 Midnight.
Registration will stay open until the fields are filled. Register

COURSE
Located in the heart of the North Park Blocks in NW Portland.
Start/Finish is located NW 8th Ave and between Everett and Davis

Pro 1, 2 -- $3,530 cash/10 Deep
Cat 3 -- $1500 cash/10 Deep
PRIMES: They will be a combination of product gift certificates and
merchandise. They are valued at over $2,000 total for the race. Primes
prizes are encouraged to be collected after race.

RULES
Wheels will be provided by the OBRA Neutral Support. Approved helmets required.
All OBRA Racing Rules apply. OBRA and the organizers of this race do
not provide insurance coverage for injuries that occur at the race.
The costs related to those injuries are the responsibility of the
individual participant.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
FREE unsecured and unlocked bike parking is provided by Good Sport Promotion.
The bike parking area is located on Park and Flanders, on the north side of the
event. Bring a lock to secure your bike. There is no official race
parking so competitors and spectators will need to park on city
streets. Car parking is limited and it is recommended that you carpool
or arrive by other means of transportation.

GETTING THERE - BY MAX
>From the East - The MAX yellow, red and blue lines will all get you
within six blocks of the North Park Blocks. Take any of the three
lines and exit at the Galleria/SW 10th Ave MAX Station. Walk north to
Burnside then turn right on Burnside until you reach Park Avenue.
Cross Burnside and you will be at the North Park Blocks.

>From the West - The MAX red and blue lines from the west will get you
within six blocks of the North Park Blocks. Take either line and exit
at the Library/SW 9th Avenue MAX Station. Walk north to Burnside then
turn right on Burnside until you reach Park Avenue. Cross Burnside
and you will be at the North Park Blocks.

GETTING THERE - BY CAR
>From the North - Take I-5 South to the Rose Quarter exit. Follow the
detour signs to the Steel Bridge and into downtown Portland. You will
be on Glisan street. Continue to Park. The event will be south two
blocks from there.Please note that parking is limited to the
surrounding streets and Downtown Portland is very crowded on a Friday
night.

>From the South - Take I-5 North to the Rose Quarter exit. Follow the
