ULTRA COOL TRACK TANDEM
This tandem was designed for Cara Dunne-Yates for the 2000 Sydney
Paralympics. The front seat tube is 53cm to the top, the rear is 49cm to the top.
Front top tube is 53cm center to center, rear is 78cm (30 inches, long
enough for a 5'10" guy to hide BEHIND the driver, not have his head above, in
the wind) Drivetrain is all DuraAce 7710 cranks, DuraAce chainrings with
Octalink bottom brackets and 1/8" Izumi chains. Cog will depend on what size
you want. I have Suntour, euro-Asia, or Dura-ace of 17 through 12 tooth. The
handlebars have been replaced since this picture was taken to Nitto steel
track front and rear. Chris King 1 1/4" headset. Wheels are Mavic Mach 2CD
rims, straight gauge 2.0 spokes, 36 rear, 32 front on a suntour superbe
front and a dura ace EX rear hub. There's a Tufo tire on the front that has
never been glued, but the rear tire is old enough that you shouldn't ride it
with 2 riders on the bike. Front saddle is a fizik Pave, rear is an SDG with
TI rails. The seatposts come with Santana bikes, and are good, alloy
types. Picture shows pedals but it will be sold without pedals. email me at
_spenceyates@hotmail.com_ (mailto:spenceyates@hotmail.com) if you're
interested, and I can send you a .jpg with full geometry specs. It will be on
display at Master's track Nationals in Ttown and the following weekend at
Tandemonium if I haven't rented or sold it by then.
