I have an odd request. I recently bought a trek 2100 off of craigslist. I took it apart to have it painted and realized that the previous owner had forced a 31.8 clamp on front derailleur onto the frame when it was built for a 34.9 clamp on. The frame is pinched and there's no way I'm going to get a clamp on front derailleur to fit this frame anymore. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Portland area frame builder who would be able to rivet on some sort of a braze on adapter so that I could still use the frame, just with a braze on front derailleur.
