I think "This Road Adopted by the Scott Wheeler Cycling Club" would be more
appropriate.

I am pursuing the Adopt a Road program through Washington and Multnomah
Counties for Rock Creek Road. I have obtained the permit paperwork and have
had productive conversations with representatives from both counties. It's
not clear at this point whether Rock Creek Road is a "canditate road
segment" but I am trying to convince the staff that it ought to be (for
bicyclists). Not sure yet who will be the official sponsor, but I see the
sign reading something like - "This Road Adopted by Bicyclists." More
soon...
