I talked with Clark's wife last nite. The driver has talked via phone to both her and Clark. She's very upset about what happened and has apologized for the accident. This sounds like a person that feels reponsible and accountable for her actions, and cares about the condition of the victim and the outcome. Hopefully if you ever ended up in her shoes you would act and feel the same. I agree with Kenji's comments.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Clark Case Update
Just as heads up the driver in that case has been cited.

One of the comments on the story says one should contact the woman through facebook to let her know your displeasure. DO NOT do so. Our job is to make sure that Clark knows we support him- not to act on a vendetta. If you feel the need to do something- help the BTA. That's how to be most constructive.
Also as an aside each time I've been hit I've treated very well by law enforcement. When I was hit on purpose by a driver down in St Paul- the OSP officer was very helpful. The Marion County DA's office also took the case very seriously. In my instance the driver was sentenced to 10 days in jail. The second time I was hit the Polk County Sheriff's office was extremely helpful- a citation was issued.
