At the state masters track championships on Saturday, Team Rose
City/Kirk Whitman Training rider Jim Thiele crushed former world master
champ Stan Gregg's ten year old 500 meter record at Alpenrose. The 500
meter is a women's and 50+ men's event. Jim's 37.29 puts him in the
elite Alpenrose Track Record Book, which is full of national champs,
world champs and Olympians. Congratulations Jim, but the heat is now
on! We're expecting big things from you in Manchester this October! See
