The Cyclocross season is almost upon us. The Oregon Junior and High School
Cyclocross Series needs your help. Remember that last year was a smashing
success. We set new benchmarks in the country for Junior participation
numbers. I expect more of the same this year. What a great opportunity for
pacific northwest juniors!

In an effort to help our generous race promoters, The Junior Cyclocross
Series takes on the responsibility of running a separate registration for
the Junior racers. This benefits the Juniors as well (short lines). The
first few races can be confusing sorting out all the new Juniors, getting
the right age, category, and High School team information that is critical
(or the results can be a disaster).

Last year several parents of Juniors helped out. Thanks so much. I am
looking for help again this year. Let me know if you can help. The critical
thing for me is dependability. If you say you are going to help then I need
you to be there. Or contact me waaaay in advance so I have time to make
other arrangements. I don't expect anyone to miss their kids race, or if you
are racing, your race. The Junior Registration runs from approximately 8 am
to 15 minutes before the Junior race starts (nominally 12 noon).

Thanks in advance for helping. Let me know what races you can cover. Here is
the schedule, and remember, bike races don't happen by themselves. They
happen, and are run smoothly because people like you volunteer their time to
make it so!
