Does anyone know anymore about this incident??????





On Tues. 7:30 AM bike coming out of Columbia Blvd. from under the railroad

bridge heading/turning left onto Killingsworth at a green light. Taco Wagon

ran red light and creamed bike going 45 mph. Cyclist was thrown 200 feet in

the air unconscious with blood coming out of ears and mouth and torso

twisted. Does anyone know this person? I was out of town and a witness

from my work stopped and helped at the crash. The driver (hispanic) tried

to take off. Luckily my co-worker/friend stopped him. The witness does not

think the cyclist lived. He was wearing a red jersey/helmet/cycling shoes

and was colorful and easily seen in the daylight doing everything right

(proceeding through his green light). However, the sun was bright and was

blinding to the drivers heading East. Driver claimed he could not see

because of the sun (even though all drivers stopped beside him and everyone

knows there is a light there).
