Sorry you experienced this. I think it is less roadie than it is PNW.
Never saw this kind of behavior in MN.

i would like to publicly apologize to the guy and his team mates (team will remain un named) for responding negatively to you shouting 'clear the trail!, clear the trail!' while i was picking myself and my bike up from my endo on the quid pro flow trail out at sandy ridge today. it was my first time on the trail and the rock garden took my (lack of) skills by surprise. it seems in the last couple of years i've inadverdentely turned myself into a roadie. ten years ago i would have reacted totally different as i hope ten years from now i will react a lot different than i did today. but today as i did NOT react how i felt, i did the best i could. and as you said that trail etiquette requires for the slower rider to step aside for the faster rider i again apologize for not only being slower but at a dead stop with my face getting to know the rock that took me out on a very intimate level. you and your team mates showed the utmost in trail etiquette as you reffered to us as being
"aggro" for being upset about you yelling for us to 'find another trail' or the part where you denied knowing that i crashed. again my apologies. for being slow, and aggro about having some guy yell at me while recovering from a crash
