I've got a work colleague who's been in touch with a European couple who are
currently riding from fairbanks, Alaska to Argentina - she met them in
Canada. They're currently in Vancouver BC and plan on being in Portland in a
couple weeks and would really appreciate a friendly place close in to crash
for a couple of days. They also indicate they could use a little help with
some basic bike maintenance like wheel truing - they've put in a lot of
loaded miles so far. I would imagine they'd make for great dinner table
conversation.
