Just over two years ago, on my way home from ? I passed out two blocks from
home. Luckily my neighbors told ambulance: OHSU was 'it' as I was
unconscious for a day. Hospital stay for 3 weeks. My recovery was very slow,
spent time getting used to walking, seeing. Sarah walked me all over the
hill here, and I actually got stuck a time or two!

So now, I'm just beyond two years, oh so happy for life! Got my license
back, got a new car--but riding every day.
Here I am, almost like I was, but with shorter hair, loving being! Here is a
partial list of visitors I had in hospital-much thanks for the support, and
everything!

Sarah, Paul & Michael Sylvester, Brian Auker, Dave Guettler, Martin Munske,
Greg Tipton, Jack & Barbara Auker, Guy Auker, Friends from I pianisti,
Trish, Danny Knuteson, Molly Lewis, Corey Stayton, Ed French, John Grochau,
Dave Campbell, Rick Potestio, Monica, Steve Marcy, Shelly, Larry Smith, Bill
Groves, and others, too!

TOMORROW IS THANKSGIVING, and we're hosting a breakfast/fixed gear ride...
8 am, 4939 SW 35th Pl
Portland, OR, 97221
Short notice, but hope to see you!

Yesterday I raced at PIR in the Master B class with the fast dry conditions I felt dropped, hard.  I focused on my race and enjoyed the time on the bike but at one point there was a rider that coming into the first set of flat barriers he looks over and encourages me, saying “it’s me and you man, let’s do it!”  or something like that.  we go into the barriers and a guy in front of him slowed him down then later he came up behind and gave me more encouragement before passing and I never saw him again.  I don’t know who you are or what team you were on but I just wanted to say thank you.  You made my race and I truly appreciate your awesome sportsmanship.

thanks
