Hello Everyone
I really need to take care of some rumors about the SoBe Mt. Bike =
series.
There is no race in Oakridge this weekend it is July 15-16.
First there WILL BE two weekend's of XC &DH racing at Shotgun Creek(July =
22-23 & Sept 2-3)...all the permit's are approved and the course has =
been done for weeks. Free T-Shirt to first 100 to sign up for each =
weekend...free chicken BBQ on July 23 and Sept 3 ( fire conditions =
permitting on the 3rd).
The Downhills at Jones Creek are still going on...yes there was some =
logging up there but they are still racing. They just had to a little =
rerouting.
Mt. Shasta is NOT part on the series...they have called many times and =
would like to be part of the series, but it is too late for 2000 and we =
have been playing phone tag for two months(just bad timing I =
guess)...there is a very off chance that we may include their DH too =
make up for the canceled DH at the Hurry up on July 29.
