Greetings Northwest Cyclists,
If you haven?t yet, check out The List on the home page of Northwest Race
Report.com (http://nwracereport.com). It?s generating some controversy. This
is The List compiled by the editor-in-chief (me) of top Northwest road
athletes regardless of age. If you think you?ve got a better list ? and many
do ? e-mail it to me at jo-@nwracereport.com.
A few brief notes. We?ll be in Spokane this weekend to cover the Washington
Cyclocross championships. This should be quite a battle, especially in the
masters division. Whether a Knapp/Sundt showdown will materialize is unknown
at this time, but Anne Grande seems to have found some form ? she won this
weekend in Oregon ? so there could be an interesting match-up between
herself, Josie Beggs and Jeanette Nusbaum.
Check out the recent edition of VeloNews with Cipollini on the cover.
There?s nice story on Seattle cyclocross on page 76. All the images for
that story were shot by Northwest Race Report.com. Also, in the next edition
of VeloNews, there?s a story by NWRR editor-in-chief (me) about the recent
Redline Cup race in Tacoma. Again, images were shot by NWRR chief
photographer (me).
Also, the exposure of Northwest Race Report.com in VeloNews seems to be
driving the number of visits to our site up. Server feedback seems to
indicate that we?re getting many more visits from California and from back
East than usual. We?re more than 1,000 visitors per weekday, which is our
summertime numbers, so good news there.
This brings me to the unavoidable sales pitch. We?re still a great place to
advertise if the people you?re looking to contact are competitive cyclists.
You won?t find a more targeted advertising delivery system than NWRR.
That?s all I got.
See you at the races.
