Needed Restaurant recommendation - Tigard/LO Area

In Tigard there is John Barleycorn's, which is a cool little castle-like

McMenamins. It's across the service bridge from the Trader Joes. And

it's definitely a Portland showcase for grub. Though on a Saturday

night... it gets a little packed.

One suggestion would be to take them to a McMenamins. No, the food is

not gourmet, but Oregon (Portland in particular) is known for McMenamins

pubs. It may put them in a great mood too, after a couple of pints.

See you at Sam Barlow,

Sorry for the off topic

Next week Mike and I are hosting the annual ATRA meeting (American Track

Racing Assn) we have reservations from the Velodrome directors from

around

the country - 23 of them. They will be staying at the Marriott

Courtyard in

Tigard and there are absolutely no restaurants within walking distance.

So

we will have to transport all of them to dinner on Saturday night. I'd

like

to take to a place that showcases the NW but is not to spendy. I really

appreciate any input from people from that area.

Thanks
