Hey OBRA,
I'm currently in an environmental physiology class at the U of O, and we're assigned to do a presentation on the extremes and how they affect the physiology of the body. I can't think of a better race than the Leadville 100, and I'd love to talk to a few participants if I could about their experiences and training.
