Do a lot of technical mountain biking.

Get used to being almost on the edge of traction/control/catastrophe.

(back of the pack Mstr B disclaimer)-i managed to keep pretty decent control but the guy i fought back and forth with most of the race would pass, crash, catch up , pass, crash, catch up, etc. it was annoying but he was pushing his limit. i have to give the guy credit. he must have crashed over half a dozen times directly in front of me but got back up and caught me every time. i don't know if all those crashes to pass one guy was worth it but he looked happy at the end of the race. as far as tips-watch the A's and watch whatever races before yours to see the different ways the front and back of each pack handles situations.

Tough but fun race.
I had some trouble with sliding out. A lot.
Anyone have ideas/tips/drills to help with riding more "on the edge"?
