It is a good thing (for the rider) the creature did not decide to use his
horns as part of the assault! That was no chance encounter. An antelope is
capable of "missing" the rider. They have phenomenal agility. There were
probably newborn close (protection) or it is mating season for the critters
(that rider did look pretty macho).
He was a lucky fellow.
