Matt
I have a lemond poprad frame that was damaged when I was hit by a car, there is a dent/bending of the seat tube and a small crack (all the damage is in the seat tube). I have been told it would be easy enough to have a frame builder repair. I haven't had the interest in repairing it for myself, but I was wondering if someone out there wanted to donate some time or any spare parts so that it could be built up and donated to the Bend Endurance Academy ( a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization) for High Cascade Cyclocross team (a Bend area composite high school team). I was hoping to get as many parts as possible donated to help build it up (I have some bars, a stem, some pedals, as well as the frame, that I am providing). I still need wheels, a group, some brakes, etc. as well as someone to fix the frame. Do you have stuff laying around that you were thinking of selling? You can write off the donation and you would be providing a bike for a racer who wouldn't have a bike otherwise.
Please get in touch with me if you can help or have any ideas. Thanks!
Matt
