Occupy P.I.R.

I have received many requests for team tents at PIR this weekend. In an attempt to make things a bit easier for everybody, we will allow teams to come in and set up their tents on Saturday afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30pm. Enter through the North entrance, do not got through the main ticket gate. PIR is a locked facility with 24 hour security. That being said, don't leave valuables over night.

The race course will not be open for preview on Saturday.

One note about Halloween Weekend in Bend. There are many awesome events going on in Bend that weekend. The Oregon Handmade Bike Show, Latino Day of the Dead celebrations, downtown art walk, and a Super D on Friday. It's actually a cyclocross Super D on a trail called Funner/Storm King. This trail is relatively non technical, and is a blast on a cross bike.

Deschutes is holding a party in their warehouse on Saturday eve. It's on the cross course and promises to be a rager. Live music, free food and plenty of beer. $5 entry fee.
