I gotta give a plug to cycle soles. Google the name and find a dealer in your area. Just had a pair of their custom insoles made for my carbon cross shoes, and I swear they feel stiffer then before. No more foot flex. I had no idea what I was missing before I got them. I'm not sponsored by them and no one is paying me to say this.
