Full fenders for non-eyelet bikes?

I agree with Ian.
I have a set of the SKS, and their great!! They don't rattle and very rarely do they shift around. Definately put electrical tape on your frame to protect your frame.
The also come with short little mud flaps, that really don't do much for the rider, the fenders have enough coverage for the rider.
However, if you want to make buddy flaps...here is what I did. The mud flaps go on through one hole located near the end of the fender...I drilled a ssecond hole right below the pre-done hole. Then I go a piece of that rubber bathroom base board molding and trimed it down into a skinny tear drop shaped buddy flap. It hangs pretty low to the ground on the rear. I also put one on the front fender which helpes out a lot to keep water off my feet.
Then just bolt on the flaps using a philips (round) head bolt with a locking nut and a washer. Tip...put the nut side of the bolt facing outwrd so there is no chance of it rubbing the tire.

Race Blades do a decent job but for full coverage I have a set of SKS full
fenders retro-fitted on my road race bike (Specialized Tarmac)... Just get a
few small plastic clamps and clamp the fenders right in the seat stays and
bottom of fork. Make sure to put electrical tape and padding before you
clamp them down or your paint will get messed up on the seat stays and fork
from the custom mounts.

I use the Crud - Road Racer 2

Their sleek, lightweight, quiet, plenty of clearance for road tires...

+1 to that. Cloth tape on the frame will protect from the p-clamp; the rubber on them can still abrade paint. For tubes too large for p-clamps, you can use a mix of cloth tape, innertubes and zip ties, with holes appropriately drilled in the fender Itself, to do the job. I've needed to do this where there is no place to mount hardware under the brakes.

Yup, I have been mounting fenders that way since the '80s.

I use cable/pipe straps to wrap around my frame tubes

you will need the right diameter (or circumference, well both I guess) for your particular bike.

They hold my fenders and my Burley Tag-A-Long just fine

Use plastic P-clips and you do not need eyelets.

Anyone know of a full fender set for road bikes without eyelets? Thus far, I've only found the Planet bike Speed EZ but they are only half coverage. Which I guess leads me to question #2...will the planet bikes keep me relatively dry or is there still a lot of spray at your feet? Thanks
