It will be hard to beat the Octoberfest potato salad, but this might do it. Thanks, Steve!

To help celebrate 2011's final Blind Date, Madison Grill will serve
salmon dinners with grilled sweet potatoes & veggies tomorrow night at
Alpenrose for $7 per plate. In addition to serving racers and fans at
such low prices, in between racing his bike, Madison Grill's owner Steve
Brown has gratuitously fed approximately 30 Blind Date workers and OBRA
officials at each of our 14 races over the last three years. Steve joins
the Alpenrose Dairy, 21st Avenue Bicycles/Fat Tire Farm, Jason Borum's
website work, Gracie's Wrench, OBRA's night crew, the Cross Crusade
brass, our many prize sponsors and all of you for making the Blind Date
possible. Special shout outs to Candi, Mel, Andy & 21st Ave.'s Kyle for
their extraordinary behind the scenes efforts too.
Thanks again to all of you for making this so much fun. To help
preserve Alpenrose for future cyclocross races, please be sure to park
in designated areas only, to avoid riding your bike on manicured lawns
and to respect Alpenrose's zero tolerance for alcohol. Hope to see you
at the Dairy tomorrow because this will be our last date for 11 months,
so be sure to go for it!
